OBJECTIVE: to show a correlation between postprandial hypertriglyceridemia and cardiovascular risk factors to atherogenesis. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS: 47 (30 women and 17 men, 40.5 ± 14.9years, body mass index: 26.1 ± 5.4kg/m2) non diabetic volunteers with normal (<200mg/dl) triglycerides were studied.
