Carcinoma with thymus-like differentiation (CASTLE) is a rare malignant epithelial tumor wich arises on soft tissue of the neck or thyroid gland. It is important to differentiate CASTLE from primary or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of head and neck, and from squamous cell thyroid carcinoma, because it has a different prognosis.
