OBJECTIVE: To describe the food intake of Japanese-Brazilians with and without macrovascular disease (MVD). METHODS: MVD was defined, for 1,165 Japanese-Brazilians, by scores attributed to the health historical, electrocardiogram and ankle-brachial index values.
