Objectives Decreased thyroid volume has been related to increased prevalence of thyroid cancer. Subjects and methods One hundred and fourteen Hungarian adult twin pairs (69 monozygotic, 45 dizygotic) with or without known thyroid disorders underwent thyroid ultrasound.
