To verify the prevalence of ischemic myocardial abnormalities, 67 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2) with normal basal electrocardiogram (EKG) or with ventricular repolarization abnormalities were evaluated by a perfusional myocardial scintigraphy.
