ABSTRACT Normocalcemic primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) is a newer phenotype of PHPT defined by elevated PTH concentrations in the setting of normal serum calcium levels. It is increasingly being diagnosed in the setting of evaluation for nephrolithiasis or metabolic bone diseases.
